Jardin du Luxembourg is one of my favourite places in Paris and I have taken hundreds of photographs there in every season. I particularly like spring as green is my favourite colour. The other day, I noticed this statue for the first time, and yet, I have visited this particular area of the gardens lots of times.
Here he was, lurking among the flowers. It looked as if he had caught sight of me trying to get a photo of him. I did look to the plaque beneath the statue, but I should have taken a photo, because I don't remember his name. A poet I think.

Green is my favorite too, Claude. He looks right at home there.
