At our first B & B, located near Chester, a convenient location that allowed us to visit Northern Wales and Cheshire, our landlady had a collection of straw hats in the entrance… and quite a few umbrellas, which proved to be very useful!

Some of the Broadhursts I’ve heard of (and from) come from Cheshire. We also have friends who live in that area. Hope you are having a good time.
Ken, I’m back I fact. I loved the area and enjoyed the trip a lot. I didn’t know Broadhurst originated in Cheshire. You’re a Cheshire cat, then! LOL
When were in Chester ourselves recently. The town itself is worth exploring and is admirably placed for forays into North Wales, which is why we went there, really.
The town is impressive for the way it has preserved and repaired its superb collection of ancient buildings, not as relics but as buildings to cherish and use. This gives the town a unique character.
