I cropped part of this photo to make the banner of PhotoBlogging in Paris

I took it while standing on the Left Bank of the river Seine. It’s the top of the magnificent glass roof of Grand Palais, in which they hold exhibitions of all kinds.

When I chose it, I didn’t know why. But Ronni Bennett in a private mail explained it to me!
She wrote:
